Terms

Short, honest, readable. Use the site. Be decent. Respect the work.

Who this is between

These terms govern your use of rooslabs.com and ripple.rooslabs.com (together, the "site"). They're between you and Roos Labs.

Reading the site

The essays and framework content are free to read and free to share a link to. Copy-pasting a passage for personal use, quoting in a review, referencing in academic work — all fine. Republishing full articles, reproducing the material commercially, or presenting the material as your own is not.

The Ripple Framework

Access to the framework at ripple.rooslabs.com is by invitation. If you have an account, you agree to:

  • Use the account yourself. Don't share credentials or your invite code.
  • Use the framework in good faith — as a tool for reflection, learning, or clinical practice, not to harass, exploit, or harm others.
  • Not attempt to extract, bulk-download, or scrape the framework content for redistribution or model training.
  • Not reverse-engineer, de-obfuscate, or attempt to bypass access controls.

The content you create inside the framework — your journal entries, reflections, notes — belongs to you. We store it so the app works. You can export or delete it at any time from within the app, or by emailing us.

Intellectual property

The Ripple of Perception Framework, including its model, language, diagrams, and supporting essays, is the intellectual property of Gary Roos / Roos Labs. Teaching the model in your own practice is welcome. Packaging it as your own product, selling derivatives, or presenting the model as your own work is not.

What's not guaranteed

The site is provided as-is. We aim for it to be correct, available, and useful, but we don't promise uptime, perfect accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

The framework is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for clinical care. If you're in crisis or dealing with serious mental-health concerns, please work with a qualified practitioner. See the Disclaimer for the full statement — including crisis resources.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Roos Labs isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability, if any, is limited to what you've paid us in the past twelve months — which for most visitors is zero.

Ending an account

You can delete your framework account from within the app at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If we do, we'll tell you why.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date below and — for framework users — email a note. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
